EMBRACING SCULPTURE

Photography that really pushes the medium’s boundaries is celebrated at this year’s Fair. Seeing pioneering work can help us reflect on our own creativity and how to push our own concepts forward. Make sure you check out the Discovery section – a part of the fair that embraces emerging galleries and photographic artists – and the special presentation on ‘Photography Crossing Boundaries’ which will include sculpture, NFTs and The Rainbow Camera by artists Walter and Zoniel.
2022 Master of Photography Nick Knight will also display a vast new sculpture in his exhibition.

A SPOTLIGHT ON PHOTOFAIRS

To mark the World Photography Organisation’s new partnership with Photo London they’ll be a very special showcase of leading Chinese galleries and artists from our fair PHOTOGAIRS Shanghai. The display includes artists Yang Yongliang (Matthew Liu Fine Arts), Ma Hailun (Gaotai Gallery) and Chen Ronghui (Three Shadows +3 Gallery), amongst others, who look at contemporary issues relating urban development, street fashion and identity and explorations on life and death. This is a fabulous insight into key exhibitors at our fair PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai.

FRANK HORVAT

Learn from master black & white fashion photographer Frank Horvat in this major exhibition. As part of the Public Programme the show will be free for all Photo London ticket holders. The show will display two emblematic strands of his work: his images of Parisian cabarets and his fashion images where he introduced a sense of naturalness and spontaneity into the very sophisticated and mannered world of the industry.
